College.

Soooo it is now August, and school is back in session...sort of.
I've recently moved into a dorm, and have been dying to bake something. See, over the summer months, I'm almost certain I was in the kitchen making something like every other day. And now, well, it may be every other week. GRR. [I want to bake. Cook. ANYTHING.]
So I went roaming around my ginormous dorm building last night and stumbled upon a full kitchen on floor 1 for student use. SCORE. Earlier in the day I had made a Wal-Mart run, getting some baking supplies, hoping to find that kitchen. I had heard about a kitchen on each floor in the dorm, but much to my surprise, that "kitchen" consisted of a microwave and an ice machine. That was disappointing. Anyways, I figured if there wasn't a kitchen in my dorm, I could go to a friend's apartment.
Wal-Mart had cake mixes that make only 12 cupcakes - soooo fitting! So I grabbed 2 of those, and a carton of 6 eggs and small bottle of veggie oil. And some cupcake liners. I got a pan of $2 before I headed to college.
I made vanilla cupcakes topped with chocolate icing. How delicious.
My roommate and suitemates loved them! I discovered that the 12 pack actually only made 9. But for 4 girls, that was the perfect amount.
No pictures, but at least there's a post here.
There may be more posts without pictures, at least until I figure out how to get WiFi in here.
Anyways, whatever you do, make it creative, make it simple and of course, make it Sprinkled With Love.
